I am not sure if it is appropriate to ask these questions here but i would appreciate if you could answer them.
I am planning to spend 4-5 days between Frankfurt-Munich in the beginning of February and cover the romantische strasse as well.
1- Do you think it would be dangerous to do that tour in February as i was hoping to rent a car and drive?
2- Where would you advice me to stop and spend the nights considering i would be stying for 5 nights?
3- If i must buy return tickets which airport would be wise to start the tour?
4- Any special advice that my kids would enjoy?
Thank you so much
I have some difficulty getting around by public transportation, and I'm looking for a private guide for my wife and I. Interested in seeing some of the city and taking a drive to Heidelberg, Mainz or some other nearby interesting town. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We'll be in Frankfurt for three nights (two full days) and will probably see a museum, town square or some other sites on our own.
We will be taking a train from Frankfurt airport to Wuerzburg. After we clear customs is it difficult to find the train platforms? The airport is huge and from the maps it is not all that clear. Our train is an ICE leaving from platform 4 if that helps. The maps indicated that there were two train areas so I want to be sure we head to the right one.
I need to exchange some cash for Euros after we land at Frankfurt airport. (We do not use ATMs). What do you suggest as the best place in the airport to do assuming there are multiple options.
