I´m going to stay with my husband in Florence for 3 days in the end of September and I´m looking for quite cheap hotel or apartments with parking. I read that everywhere in centre of Florence is parking for 25E/per day.
Do anyone knows some hotel with parking?
I stayed in Eur hotel, out of the city center but situated in a very safe part and above all, very quiet. It is affordable, my single room have cost 65 euros and has large and safe own parking place. Opposite the hotel is bus stop from where you will reach center of the city in 10-15 minutes, the bus ticket cost 1 or 2 euros.
It is 3 star hotel, clean with descent breakfast.
The address; Via Pistoiese, 30
Check "Hotel Auto Park" autopark.hotelinfirenze.com/...
We stay a couple of year in this hotel.... each trips we had in Italy always hire a car and we mostly book a hotel with parking....this hotel is out the center about 10 min by bus...... bus stops right next door
Again I reiterate that even you are not allowed to drive into the centre of Florence as it is designated a ZTL zona traffic limitada - drive into Florence and you will be fined heavily - this also applies to local residents. There is some parking just outside the city walls but it is a good 15-20 minute walk into the historic part of Florence. ZTLs are common in most large Italian towns. You are not allowed to even drop off your luggage in the centre historic.
