If you are asking about San Lorenzo market then it situated at Piazza San Lorenzo. Central market is situated at Piazza del Mercato Centrale.

Small correction: the outdoor market which used to be in and around Piazza San Lorenzo was moved out of that piazza in 2014. It is now located in the streets around Mercato Centrale: not far at all from the church but not exactly where it used to be.

But this isn't really a market for fabric buyers so I'm not sure it's what you're looking for? There is a large shop not far from San Lorenzo church that reportedly sells very nice fabrics so you might give it a look?

Tuscany is more famous for the production of woolen fabrics, notably from reused materials, the best silk can be bought in Como and its surroundings.
There are few pretty good shops in the city of Florence, offering silk fabrics as well:
- Bacci tessuti, Via dell'Arento
- Casa dei Tessuti, Via de' Pecori
- Gori tessuti, Via Vittorio Emanuele in Calenzano
italian word tessuto, pl. tessuti is for fabric
More convenient prices can be found in the city of Prato, where there are large number of stocks, I recommend this two:
- Euro Stock Tessuti - Via Antonio Vivaldi
- Ventex, Via V.Montalese
