I am going to be in Fayetteville for a weekend and am looking for some "must-dos" (or "must eats", whatever). Any hints would be great.
Thanks! -Joe
I would go for the Airborne and Special Ops museum ... very interesting and well worth a special trip. There are lots of good displays and history with 23 main areas from WWII to the present. Be sure to look up, it is about airborne after all. You can easily spend a couple hours going through the exhibits, much more if you are really interested and read most of the explanations and history that go with them. Easy to find and lots of parking. The simulator ride you can take ($5.00 charge) is short but intense. Currently only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday; check their website for current hours and special exhibits ([original link]). Fairly large gift shop with some interesting and unique items for sale. I would say this museum is a must see for anyone remotely interested in the military or history.
Awesome. Thanks dude. Any food recommendations you can think of? -joe
