Hi! Could someone help us, please? How can we get on 30/12/2015 at 18:00 from Eliat to Tel-Aviv? We made a lot of searches, but haven't found the best solution yet. Thank you!
You can only book online in Hebrew - if you don't know Hebrew you can book by phone or at any Central Bus Station in Israel once you are here.
From what I can see for this week, your only option is the 19:00 bus (no. 393), arriving in Tel Aviv at about 00:30. Double check when making your phone reservation, as suggested above.
Thank you very much!
There's another site that gives bus timetables so you can check on:
Eilat-Tel Aviv busses are nr.393 and nr.394.
If you arrive to Eilat by plane, airport bus drops you at the central station and you can buy tickets here. There was no problem for me to get a ticket on the same day. But Dec 30 might be more crowded......
I wish you to enjoy your Israel trip as much as did - it was just wonderful!
Don't worry about getting a bus IF you reserve at least 24 hours in advance. Egged does NOT run one bus at each scheduled time. There are as many buses as needed put on the route. So, the 1900 "bus" may be 5 buses or 3 buses or 7 buses. You are assigned a bus! You need to make advance reservations so they know how many vehicles to put on at a given time. Walk ups are always iffy, only if there is room on one bus can you do that.
Same day, usually okay, but if you know in advance, why wait to the last minute.
Thank you all!
