What is the best way to access Montecristi in Manabi at the moment after the earthquakes?

I am from Australia and need to plan a trip to Montecristi in Manabi province in order to provide relief aid. What would be the best way to get there? Thank you

I would suggest that you contact the actual relief organization to get the up to date info that you are requesting.

Honestly, stay home and send money through a recognized relief agency. I assume you are asking about the earthquake that struck in April this year?

These places usually have plenty of labour but medical aid, but building materials, clothing, food and medicines are in short supply. Going there, unless you are part of a trained expert group that local authorities have called in, you won't be adding any value and more than likely taking away work from the local people and consuming resources that can be of more use locally.
