Refund From Tame

I Recently bought refundable airline tickets from Tame. However, my travel plans have changed and I need to cancel my flights. I have sent numerous emails and phone calls, however the Refund Department is not responding.

Does anyone know how I can go about getting my refund?

hi, your profile do not mention where are you from, how you bought the ticket? online or through a travel agent?

you can try call the customer service center nearest to your location, if the ticket term is Refundable, you should not have any problem, however some airlines do deduct some amount as refund charges

You can also try check the Tame website.....manage my booking.....and cancel your flight, some airlines so also charge or deny refund if you apply for the refund after the first flight date (blackout/no show)

Do you live near an airport that is serviced by TAME, If so I would show up at the person and ask to speak to the local manager who must get this question all the time. The airline was taken over by the government in 2011 and has been expanding its operations significantly. I say this because of the competition I think they would be more responsive to inquiries such as yours.

Did you pay via credit card? If so you can do a challenge to the charge and force a response by TAME. I would do this asap if you can.

I bought the tickets online from Canada via credit card. I depart for Ecuador in a few weeks, but my travel plan no longer allow me to travel to the Galapagos Islands while I am there, which is why I need the refund. I have contacted via email but I keep getting passed around and always have a dead end at the Refund department where no emails have been answered. I have also tried all the numbers on the website, but no numbers have connected.

I will try the numbers you have provided again. If that doesn't work.....I will try contacting my credit card and file a dispute.

It is hard for me to make further plans in Ecuador until I am 100% certain my flights will be refunded. I hope all works out.
