Hello I'm planning to travel in Ecuador for a month January 2016 already booked Galapagos and amazon and I booked acomodation in Quito for 4 days. then I will have 2 weeks to visit otovallo mindo latacunga cotopaxi banos and cuenca.
I'm a solo traveller. Guys do you think that I will be able to see the places I posted.
Will it be easy to buy flights from cuenca to quito there and then please?
I don't like to book accommodation in advance and you think it's easy to find on the way?
Any suggestions will help.
Cotopaxi is still puffing smoke so I am not sure how close you can come, if the National Park is open.
Yes, you can visit these places in two weeks. Go south from Quito and fly back from Cuenca (there shouldn't be any problems to find a flight ticket). When you come back to Quito you can visit Mindo.
I have visited Ecuador five times. Sometimes I have booked a room in advance, sometimes not. There shouldn't be any problems to find accommodation, but if you want to stay in a very popular hotel/hostel it can be good to book in advance, at least a few days.
After my four first visits I have built lots of travel pages about Ecuador, with photos and tips. Here are a few of them:

Hello Malena thanks for answer me as it's been a while since I travel on my own. Do you travel on your own? I'm concern that it's gonna be expensive because I'm travelling solo.
Malta is a lovely Island you should Co e and visit it's only 3 hours flight from Sweden. At the moment it's still warm and I still go and swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
If you want some help about Malta let me know.
Hello Carmen! Yes, I have been travelling solo, and Ecuador is a good country to do so in. Often you pay per person at a hotel (at the cheaper at least) and not per room, even though I saw tendencies towards the latter during my latest visit.
Malta is on my wishlist!
