where to buy cuckoo clocks in Dusseldorf

We will be in Dusseldorf for a few days in November. Can anyone tell me where we might buy a cuckoo clock? Unfortunately Dusseldorf will be our only stop on this trip. Thank you.

Duesseldorf is my favorite large city so it is not unfortunate that that is your only city in germany. I would ask what part of the city will you be staying? There are a couple of possibilitis on the Konigsalle or Graf-Aldolf Strasse though Duesseldorf isn't known for cuckoo clocks. If you are possibly looking for older ones you might try the antique stores found in the Carlstadt area of Düsseldorf. Carlstadt is just south of the Altstadt and comprises mainly of the streets, Hohe, Bilker and cross (east & west) Bastion & Sud streets. On Hohe Strasse one can find a quaint 60’s bar called “Brigit Mylord” and it is worth a visit if you are there on the weekend.

Also you could contact the tourist office at [email] to ask.

Enjoy Duesseldorf.

This company helped me out a ton when I was looking for one while travelling. The owner is a really nice guy and a wealth of knowledge so would highly recommend try to contact them. [original link]
