Hi. I have a multi hour layover at Dubai airport starting at 1 am. Will any of the restaurants be open at that time? I have checked the airport website but have not had any luck in determining what is open at odd hours. Thanks.
Dubai is a wonderful place to visit! Cancel your flight out, reserve a night in a hotel, and spend at least one whole day there!
Hi. I will be spending 5 days in Dubai on the way back so only need info for the layover on my first destination. I'm glad you recommend seeing the sites.
It's a 24 hour airport, as busy at night as during the day, so plenty of eateries are open 24 hours. I'm not sure though what's available in the transit area, but with a US passport it's easy to get through Immigration ( automatic free visa on arrival) so you could go to restaurants in any area of the terminals.
Yes, you will have. Not only restaurants but an international hotel in the Transit area. :)
Dubai International Terminal Hotel.
The entrance is not well marked and you need to ask some staff.
Check below link :
Dubai airport has 24 hours service and there are restaurants open on this odd hours...,.The website of Dubai airport doesn't showed the opening hour of shops and restaurants
Is not necessary to cross the immigration for restaurants there are plenty of restaurants and shops on transit area
I have passed by Dubai Airport many times at night and pretty much everything is open, even at 3am in the morning.
Emirates have a a lot of flights coming in close to midnight and many people are changing flights to other destinations, so even in the middle of the night, it's a very busy airport.
Not sure if this has changed but Dubai has (had) the largest Duty Free in the world. Only one to my knowledge where gold is sold in the Duty Free, - and yes it is open 24/7.
Gold I cannot afford, especially since I upgraded to business for this multiday travel experience. I'll stick to the good chocolate available in duty free.
And a good choice of liquor if you like to have a drink too just to add on ;-)
In case you are a smoker then there is a Mexican beer bar on the second floor that allows smoking too.
just came back from a Dubai airport layover and arrived at 4 in the morning and the restaurants and shops are open even at that time and are 24/7. the Dubai International Hotel is located along Terminal 3, concourse 3, near gates c8 and c10 if you want to stay in the hotel for your lay over
I was there in the Dubai airport in 2015 december and everything was pretty much open ..
Here are some late night restaurants [original link]
Hope this helps!
Hi! You needn't worry as Dubai Airport is fully functional 24/7 with plenty of cuisine choices esp. at T1 and T3.
