Delaware taxes

Is it true that there's no taxes in Delaware? Or they are really low? I heard this and then I asked, maybe one of you live in Delaware, or have been to Delaware, USA lately.

There is no sales tax on any item purchased in Delaware -- a fact they proclaim as you enter the state.

Their average state and local INCOME tax, however, is one of the highest in the nation. So to say there are "no taxes" in Delaware is untrue and, let's fact it, obviously impossible.
