I will be staying in Charlotte April 4 for 3 nights.
I will be renting a car for one day only and the other 2 days I won't have one.
What is a good neighbourhood to stay in that is "foot" friendly...i like to walk around and see things.
Or can someone recommend a good neighbourhood to stay in?

Hello. The Dilwoth neighborhood is an excellent older established area close to downtown and the South Boulevard area. Both within walking distance. Charlotte has just opened it's first light rail system as well that can take you to other areas along South Boulevard for shopping etc and to downtown. Not sure of hotels in the Dilworth neighborhood but any hotel downtown is close to walking to that area too.
