Was wondering if there were scooters or golf carts to rent to get around for the day?
I am looking for a hotel/resort that would be fun for a 10 years old boy.
Are there any stores close to where the cruise ships tender that sell Cayman Logwood Products?
How much is the rent for a basic Appartment per month? Not too big, for 1, maximum 2 persons.
Thank you !

My fly from Kuba to Jamaika has a stay on the cayman islands.
my question is: can i leave the airport at Cayman islands to see something of this island ? or is this impossible?!
are there any problems? or is this possible...
can we rent a car from the cruise harbour
I have read that it is okay to take a 2 year old to stingray city.
I am wondering if anyone can recommend a company that would be toddler friendly. We don't need to participate in any snorkelling afterwards and would prefer to keep the trip relatively short.
If you thinks it's really inappropriate to bring such a small child along, I'm interested in hearing your opinion.
We are thinking about booking an excursion to stingray island from our carnival boat, but we don't like the time restrictions on an excursion. Is it easy to snorkel there ourselves? Or not? We don't want to miss the boat....
We will be on carnival cruise lines, visiting 1 day in January between 7am and 4pm. Do you think there will be time to do some snorkeling? Also is it true this is the rainy season, and it is windy?
We are viviting the Caymans on a crusie and need to know about any visa requirements.
Hi! My best friend and I will be in the Caymans and I would like to know how far it is from Carnival cruise line port to Georgetown? Do I need to get a taxi? Or get a guide to take me? How much? And is margaritaville worth it?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
My husband and I are considering visiting Grand Cayman with our 1 year old. We would likely stay at the Morritt's resort on the opposite side of the island from 7 mile beach. There are some openings in September but we understand that this is generally the rainy season (and of course hurricane season). We are wondering how much it actually rains. Since we'll have a small child we don't want to be cooped up in our unit most of the day, nor do we want to be hanging out on the beach in the rain. Can anyone tell me what it's usually like? We've been the island in May when it was completely dry with only a few showers at rum point (seemed to be the only place on the island getting the showers at that time). It's our understanding that the side of the island we are considering is also generally wetter. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.
Staying with the family on the 7 mile beach for a week. Is the island accessable by bike, scooter, foot, or will we want a car to get around to restaurants and general exploration?

I would like to know, what are the prices in Cayman islands (for clothing, for example) ? Are they similar or better then in USA or UK ? What products are good bargain there ? I know that there is duty free, but otherwise its a tourist destination with potential bigger prices... Thanks for every advice.
What other water activities are there to do on Grand Cayman other
than the Sting Ray City (which we have done before)?
Anyone know of some cheap accommodation on the Cayman islands. Budget hotel, hostel or guest house. Even a small appartment, anything will do.
We are on a trip around the world and have a 1 week stay planned in may.
Any ideas. Our budget lies around 30 euros per night but we could go up a bit.
Thanks in advance
I wondered if you could help me figure something out.
I'm a UK citizen and want to visit the Cayman Islands for 3 months, to give living there a test-drive until I purchase a property and qualify for residency.
However, all the information I'm seeing online leads me to believe I can only stay for 30 days at a time. Is there any way to get a 3 month stay vs. a short 30 days?
Does anyone know the procedure for a British national?
hi there, i am an avid cyclist and wondered if cycling the caymans was a realistic option. i noticed that our accomodation includes bikes.
We are taking my 85-year-old mother-in-law on a cruise this winter. She wants to go to the beach when we stop at Grand Cayman. Can anybody recommend a beach that's easy to get to where we can rent beach chairs and buy beverages? Lunch? It would be a nice bonus for me if there was a good spot to snorkel nearby. We accept having to pay a moderate admission charge.
I've heard that there are a couple of places that get real crowded when the cruise ships are in port. Any not-quite-so-well-known spots? We're going to be taking a cab, so please no 50 mile drives. Mom-in-law is ambulatory, but has bad knees, so also no long trails.
Thanking you in advance
We are planning a trip in March of '09 to Morritt's resort and was wondering if anyone can give any insight on the place. Are there bike or scooter rentals available or grocery stores within walking distance from the resort? Any tips on transporation from airport to the resort besides the high price of cabs? Any helpfull information about the place would be appreciated.
My Husband and I are going to Grand Cayman for the first time in August and would like to know about areas around Cayman that are a must see for snorkeling. And any trips by boat that would be worth while, besides Stingray city that we plan on doing.
Also this will be our first time driving on the on the left side of the road, and was wondering if its hard to get used to? And what company you would recommend to rent from.
Thanks in advance, Diane
We are only going to be on the Island for 1 day, what is the best way to get around? Taxi, rental car or Omnibus$ thanks ML
What are the advantages and disadvantages of exploring the island with rented car? Are drivers as wild as it is in some Caribbean Islands? Are there some special beaches that can be driven to? What insurance is advisable? What type of drivers license is required?
Thanks for the information.
I hold a german driving license. Do I need an international driving license on Cayman for a rental car ?
I have received an offer for employment on Cayman and should be arriving on the Island in December 07/Jan 08.
I have searched through all the various rental sites, etc., but does anyone have any inside scoop on finding roommates? I would be interested in sharing an apartment or house for about the first 6 months to start. Hoping to pay somewhere around1200 not including utilities...
I'm a 33 yo female from Vancouver, Canada, and will be working downtown on normal business hours. Have a family that will be staying behind, but will eventually relocate.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
how much does a carton of newport cost in the cayman islands
I am currently in the process of waiting for my cayman work visa to clear and I am in need of a roommate(s) or a room to rent somewhere in the Georgetown or West bay area. I am a 22 year old Canadian male. Comfortable living with males or females, would prefer around my age. If you can help please contact me.
