Canada is a REALLY big place. Is there a particular providence you are interested in seeing (Quebec, BC, Manitoba)?

Must sees depend on your interests. Calgary has a great rodeo, but the nearest beach is about 1,000 miles away. Toronto has great city attractions, but there are no glaciers.

Good comments dealing with the size of Canada. If it were possible to fly from coast-to-coast non-stop, from St Johns NL to Victoria BC, you would be looking at somewhere around an 8-hour non-stop flight. There are no direct flights that do this, so in reality it will take even longer. That's just going from east to west. If you wanted to head to northern Canada, the times are somewhat shorter, but even Iqaluit, on Baffin Island is over 3 hours; getting further north means getting on some pretty small aircraft and a much longer trip.

The most popular place to visit in Canada is likely Niagara Falls, which is about 90 minutes away from Toronto, another well known travel destination. Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver are other places people go to visit. Calgary is the place to head to if you want to explore the Rocky Mountains.

Don't miss old town Quebec... have a drink in that magnificent Chateau Frontenac.
