Buenos Aires

Spanish schools in Buenos Aires

Hello everybody,

I am planning to spend around 3 months in South America. Considering that I don't speak a word of Spanish, I want to spend most of the first 2 months in Buenos Aires, to immerse into the culture and especially learn the language. Therefore, I am currently looking for a language school and wanted to ask for opinions. Has anybody made any experience with Spanish schools in Buenos Aires? Through my research, I am especially interested in "Academia Buenos Aires" and "El Pasaje". Can anyone recommend or comment on these schools?

Thanks,
Toolli

Check language app Duolingo. You can download it for free on your smartphone and ipad/ tablets. One of the best language apps around and its free! I learnt quite a bit of spanish using this app, helpful for my travels in south america.

Hey Tolli511,

unfortuantely I dont have experiences with the two schools in Buenos Aires you prefer, but I can recommend Ailola Buenos Aires to you. I have been there for 12 weeks to take classes in espanol and I was very glad, because the classes were very small and the teachers very ambitious. If you want to have a look at this school, here is the link: http://www.ailolabuenosaires.com/

Furthermore you have many options to practice your spanish in Buenos Aires and to "immerse" into the culture. There a lot of intercambio and tandem events for example mundolingua. There also are tandem programs for different nations. Hola - hallo for exampla for native spanish speakers and germans. Schools and language teachers told me about this possibilities, so do not forget to ask ;-)
