Does anyone know if there is a luggage storage at Otopeni airport ?

Does anyone know if there is a luggage storage at Otopeni airport , and if so how much it costs/day? We need to store bags for a day (probably 8-9 hours), and we will pick them up when we fly to Baia Mare. Does anyone have any other advice for where we can store a bag for that long? Thanks for your help!

From what I know there is no luggage storage on Otopeni. I also looked at their webpage and they don't mention anything about such service. The train station (gara de nord) has a luggage storage if that helps

I don't remember seeing it, and it's not on the website. And several outside websites say there isn't .

No left luggage at Otopeni, but there is a left luggage at Gara de Nord. If you are booked through to Baia Mare, you may find that your luggage is booked through and you don't have to collect at Bucharest. Depends on the airline and your length of stay.
The system for taxis at Otopeni has changed recently and you can get a normal priced taxi from the airport to Gara de Nord - 30 lei Otopeni to Gara de Nord instead of 70 lei. Watch out for the taxi touts who will rip you off something rotten. You might find it worthwhile to hire a taxi for the visit, which will cost you about 15 lei standing time and 1.40 per KM. Might cost you 2-300 lei (€50-75) for the day and better value than a hire car. You can negotiate a rate for the day.

A hired car from [original link] or such, would be around 80 RON/day compared to a cab which is 300 RON/day...plus you don't need to stay next to a sweating cabbie, and you have it for 24H not for 6 hours a day. So i doubt hiring a car is a better deal.

For left luggage in Bucharest there are two variants storage : one are the lockers at train station "Gara de Nord",the second is a luggage storage situated on Coltea Street near Universitate(central area).
