"Vozovi broj 714 i 715 do daljnjeg NE saobraćaju na ralaciji Doboj - Banja Luka - Doboj"
Trains number 714 and 715 to further notice. NO traffic on relation Doboj - Banja Luka - Doboj.
My wife and I are planning on flying into Dubrovnik, renting a car and driving to Mostar, Sarajevo and down to Koto and finally back to Dubrovnik and back home to Canada. What are some of the things that we should not miss. Have being to Dubrovnik before so probably will not stop there. Is the scenery from Sarajevo to Kotor worth seeing? We have approx 2 weeks. Thanks Rick
We shall be visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Albania next June. I've read up on the drive from Sarajevo to Podgorica (via Foca and crossing the border at Scepan Polje) and what it is like. I am trying to get a good idea of how long the drive will take and if there are any likely delays at the border. According to google maps, the drive is likely to take about 4 hours for the 229 km/142 miles. Not counting stops to take pictures ( I understand it is beautiful, mountainous terrain with often winding stretches of road),is this accurate? This is a fairly slow speed but is it likely to take longer? Will any border delay make ti longer? Thanks.
I am interested at seeing something special and less known in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I know a lot about Sarajevo, Visoko Pyramids, Mostar, Jajce and Banja Luka, but I would like to visit also some other special places, realy worth visiting. In tourist guides, there are only some boring descriptions of towns. Would you know, where could I find some tips for more active holidays?
Please, give me ideas! Thank you for all your helpful answers!
We are planning to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina in july, with a baby. What is the average temperature in the cities, and are we able too seek lower temperatures in the mountains. How low are the temperatures there?
I'm planning a winter skiing at Jahorina. I don't have a car, so I need some informations about a public transport facilities. I will go by train to Beograd, than by bus to Pale. Can I transport my skis in these international buses? Is there any extra fee for this "special" luggage?
The other question is, where to book an accomodation.
It looks like a good idea, to stay in Pale, if there is a bus service that takes to Jahorina in the morning, and take back in the afternoon. I 've seen the website of Pticabus: it seem's like there is a regular tourist line from Pale to Jahorina. In the winter, is it functional as a ski bus?
If I choose an accomodation at Jahorina, I need a taxi from Pale. How much have to be a price of this journey? Are the drivers reliable? (Need to avoid expensive private 'mafia-style' taxis...)
Thank you for responses.
I am considering a trip to Sarajevo and Mostar during Easter 2016, i. e. end of March month.
I have read online that the temperature the same period this year had between 12 and 19 degrees C, but I have also read that there is a 60% risk of rain in March. What is the weather usually like during the period? I am the owner of a Swedish travel blog and I need sunshine and a blue sky on my pictures!
What is typical food in hercegovina?

We will probably land in Sarajevo and start our short journey from there. which cities do you recommend ? We prefer nature more than cities.
Hi. Please, could you tell me where to find some kind of map for trekking in Bosnia? Me and my boyfriend would like to go to the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina and spend there 4 or 5 days. Are there some maps available? Thank you for your answer. Jitka
Hello. A friend and I are planning a first visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, late September. Trying to decide whether to start in Sarajevo (arriving by train around 7pm) or Mostar (arriving about 11pm). Mostar looks smaller / easier to get into town from the station but would it feel safe that time of night? Will it be OK checking into a hotel etc? (We plan to book). At first we thought it would be easier beginning our trip in the larger city; now looking at other options. Thanks! L
Hi, I am planning to go to Sarajevo and Mostar at the end of July. Are these places safe to visit and not affected by flood? I need to book my flight ticket soon.
Hey, I'm about to go to B&H in 2 days but I can't find Lpg stations. Do you know if there are any? I'll be travelling between Visegrad and going to Dubrovnik. May be in Visegrad? I need your help! :)
I need to travel in July from London to Sarajevo. I used to go by flying to Zagreb or Belgrade (it's cheap) and getting the bus. Is this still possible, or have services been disrupted by the flooding disaster? Flying to Sarajevo from London is expensive and the connection in Vienna is too tight in my opinion.
I know now it's still impossibile to travel by train from Zagreb to Sarajevo due to the devastating floods; It could be possible to do a train travel from Zagreb to Sarajevo and from Sarajevo to Mostar in August or reconstruction's works could take more time? Thank you
I 'm going to visit Sarajevo,Mostar and Belgrade in 3rd June for a week and worried with the flood impact the bus service.

Hi ! we would like to cross the bosnian border from Serbia, is that possible? anything we should be cautious of?
After 2 nights in Zadar (fixed) I will head into Bosnia Herzegovina where I intend to spend a night or two in Jayce (and maybe Travnik) before moving on to Sarajevo. I can allow 2 nights for Plitvice Lakes either at the beginning or end or my 18 night trip. Can someone suggest the best route by local transport. Could I go via Knin ? ( I see private roads and restrictions on that route) A day in Banja Luka could be included but small mountain villages are higher on my list for this visit. I’m okay with long bus journeys but do not wish to travel overnight.. Will I be able to find guest house accommodation on arrival without booking? My final night must be in Zadar. Thx in advance for any input.
