Borobudur - Wonosobo - Dieng plateau - Kertek - Parakan - Kaloran - Bandungan/Salatiga

We are in the process of preparing our July/August visit to Java.

One of our questions is: is the next programme/route feasable to be carried out in one day?
After breakfast in Borobudur (no sunrise event, Borobudur temple complex being done in the day before) via Kepit and Wonosobo to Dieng plateau, visit Dieng plateau, then via Lake Telaga (short visit) - Kertek - Parakan - Temanggung - Kaloran - Bandungan/Salatiga; sleep in Salatiga or Bandungan or Ambarawa.

The trip would be carried out with a car + driver.

Many thanks in advance for a motivated reply!

Of course this depends on how much time you spend on Dieng, could easily spend a few days. Travel time from Borobudur is 2 to 3 hours, from Dieng to Salatiga 3 to 4, depending on traffic. So you should count on arriving in Salatiga or Bandungan after sunset (5:30). There is no accommodation worth mentioning in Ambarawa. Instead you could settle for staying over at Wonosobo or Magelang.
