Bora-Bora

Electrical Plug Adaptor

What type of Electrical Plug Adaptor should I bring to Bora Bora. I have read that the Hotels provide them, but I want to bring one just in case.

It is the same as France, and yes both of our hotels had them available.

To be a little more technical, the plug is a NF C 61-314. If you Goggle Image this type, you can see a picture of it.

You can get an adaptor for less than $15 at Radio Shack. Below is the link of the one we got before going to Bora Bora. Note it doesn't convert voltage, but the plugs for most electronics (phone, camera, etc.) can take the European voltage.

The two pronged one that is used in France. My hotel had them but required a hefty deposit to cover if you don't it.
