Belize - 10-14 days + Maya excursions  (1 Answer)

We are planning our trip to this great country. My wife and myself, if possible due to the best part of the year for us (Willing to rescheduale) & our thought of the tours we are thinking of experienceing. We would love to be at an "All-Inclusive Resort" for 10-14 days, if possible, in November. We are also greatly interested in touring The Maya Sites and leaning of thier Great Heritage. We would greatly like to see and maybe spend a 2 day outting to see Xunan Tunich & Tikal, the largest known Mayan city. These 2 are a must for us. We would like to know the right places to stay and what it will take, if possible, the 2 day outting from the resort. Can the bookings of the tours be done through the resort, or, only available to be booked away from the resort. Please help. The two of us are greatly interested in a November trip, but need to know if it better to be done at a different time of the year. Any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated

Transportation to the Belize Zoo  (3 Answers)

My husband and I are staying just one nignt at the Tropical Education Center, by the zoo. Other than an expensive taxi, what options do we have for getting out there? We only need one way, since we are cave tubing the next day.

Our flight arrives at 2:30. I can't seem to find bus info to find out if we will be able to catch one at 3 or 3:30 to get out there.

Are there shuttles from the airport that are less expensive than a cab?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Where to find island paradise?  (5 Answers)

I want a modest villa for four peeps, cheap. Just a couple of beds, a clean bathroom and a fridge. I want seaside or damn close. I want a beach I can swim off and see beautiful underwater worlds. I want a nearby village with a couple cafes and a couple restaurants. I want sandy roads that lead out to empty little coves. I'm thinking Belize but don't know where or what? Tips appreciated.
