There will be no buses on either Good Friday or Easter Sunday. In rural France buses do not usually operate on Sundays or Holidays. Saturday 4th April will be normal Saturday times.

Here are the timetables

from Bayeux busverts.fr/upload/fiches_ho...

returning to Bayeux

busverts.fr/upload/fiches_ho...

Samedi = Saturday - you will see there is a bus from Bayeux railway station to the American cemetery at Colleville sur Mer at 1225 returning at 1630

I hope this helps.

I am not 100% sure about Monday 6th. This is observed as a holiday in some parts of France but not others.

The Bus Verts website does indicate that the normal weekday timetable operates on Monday 6th which I hope someone with more knowledge can confirm.

There is no Good Friday in France, buses will operate normally. The Monday is a bank holiday ALL over France not just parts so there will be probably no or very few buses on that day. Trains should be running as per Sunday schedule on that day.
www.sncf.com will give you the timetables for that.

I live in the Caen area (20 minutes from Bayeux by train) and I can tell you that Easter Monday here is more or less considered a holiday. Public transportation and restaurants and stores will treat the day as if it were Sunday, so if public transport works on a Sunday, it will work on Monday as well.

Be careful though, shops and restaurants might not be open. I tend to find that here, in the city, there are several shops open on Easter Monday that would not normally be open. Some shops take advantage of days where people would not have to work. However, it's impossible to know what will and wont be open, unfortunately. You should be okay on buses and trains, but I would call just to be 100% sure. No one likes getting stranded.
