Ok so for our short break in feb/March next year we are after something a little different... Basically we ant to fly to Kuala Lumpur where we will stay for three days, then go onto wherever.
We are after suggestions of the most beautifull places in South East Asia, the must see places and must do places.
We enjoy relaxing, beaches, drinking and eating, eco and exploring.
Please help us to arrange our three wekks early next year....
We have travelled Cambodi (PP and SR), Bali (sanur), Borneo (Sandakan and KK) and Malaysia (Langkawi, Penang mainland)..
so Please, Please, Please help us tailor our three weeks. Our only stipulationis that we will arive in KL.
Many thanks in advance

OK, from KL fly to Clark, Philippines then fly from there to Puerto Princesa , Palawan which will satisfy all your requirements.
Relax on the beaches of Sabang, Port Barton, El Nido and Coron, all have beautiful sandy beaches, and most have kayaks to rent, diving, snorkeling, reasonable priced accommodation (budget to expensive), jungle trekking, cliff climbing and other attractions. In the philippines beer is cheap, if you buy from small store 50 cents a bottle 320ml or1 25cts 1litre. Bars are about1 a bottle and there are plenty of drinking holes. On the island there are eco parks, zip lines, ATVs, Restaurants serve great seafood as Palawan is considered the fishbowl of the Philippines and the people are friendly but be careful if you pass by Manila. Anyway check my Palawan/Puerto Princesa pages out, you may be interested in visiting here.

I am sitting on a beach in Sri Lanka writing these lines and this is really an island with fantastic beaches and a very good kitchen and the beers go for about a dollar a bottle in the local bars.

Air asia has cheap flights from KL to Sri Lanka and i think you should seriously consider this.

Excellent advises already but just to add a few options Langkawi from KL Air Asia will charge110 to120 per head a very good Island for details check my Langkawi page. Genting Highland from KL can be by bus or private car which is a day trip but if you like it you can give it a day or two especially if you like Casinos, Have a pleasant Trip !
