Planning my first trip

I live in Las Vegas and I would like to plan a trip to visit Ardmore. What airport would I fly into and how would I get to Ardmore from there?

I take it you mean Ardmore, Co Waterford? If so the nearest airport would be Cork, although getting a flight from Las Vegas to Cork would probably involve several changes along the route. Then you would have to take a bus from Cork city to Ardmore. The bus journey from there would take about an hour and a half. You can check timetable and use the journey planner for buses here: [original link]

Ardmore could easily fit into a trip between Dublin and Shannon Airports for a few days but wouldn't be top of the tourist list for a week stay. I will guess this is for heritage/ancestry reasons.. If so plan to fit it into a larger trip.

Yes, thank you. I will look into it then. There are few changes along the way no more what but I think its worth it in the end. A bus trip is no big deal. Thank you for your advise.
