I would like to go to Seville, Grenada, Corduba, Jaen for 10 days to two weks in the beginning of February. Is this an ok time to travel there? How much time would I need in each city. I love history and architecture and know there is to much to see. Are there any other places that we should visit? We will probably have a car.
Thanks for any advice !!
We will be staying for 1 week in Olvera, then 1 week in Soportujar during March 2016. We will have a car for both weeks and are not worried about a lot of driving. Please suggest some "Must See" highlights and "Off the Beaten Track" places so I can make an itinerary. We will be self catering, but any dining suggestions would be welcome.
Is there free wifi at or near the bus station in Olvera? I need to contact someone locally when we arrive, but do not have a mobile phone (I'm Canadian - costs are too high here). I can use Google Hangouts to make the call, but only if there is wifi.
Hi you guys, I am travelling to Andalucia, between Malaga and Nerja. Does anybody have insider tips where to go, restaurants, pubs and so on? I have been in that area before but now I bring along more time. Any must-sees, must-tastes... Also I would love to hear about music locations - are there any concert places?
Thanks for you help,
I plan to tour around Andalucia on the trains
I thought about ordering the trains from RENFE but it looks very complicated so I though about buying tickets on the day
Lisbon to Seville using coach
Sevilla to Cordoba - train
Cordoba to Granada - train
then fly home
Is it OK to do this? Will there be room on the trains? Is it safe to turn up and get a ticket?
I've been trying to figure out whether it's worth to get the Spain train pass or just buy the one way tickets when I'm in Andalucia for a couple days. Any thoughts or what have you done before?
I am planning to travel to southern spain in July this year. Can some one help with the following queries:
1) Is it better to fly in to Barcelonia or Malaga from Newcastle?
2) I plan to do a 5 - 6 days trip to southern spain. Is it easy to drive from one town to the next for eg. Malaga - Granada - Corboda - costa del sol?
3) What are the sightseeing places we should not miss in this trip? Any recommendations?
4) As for hotels, any good recommendations?
5) Is it possible to drive from southern spain to Lisboa as our last destination where we plan to spend 2 - 4 days exploring Lisboa and Porto?
Hi is it difficult to get from Ronda to Berchules by public transport?
I'd like to know from anyone who has taken the ferry to Tangier either from Algeciras or Tarifa. Which of the two ports is better suited in terms of frequent schedule, up-to-date vessel for the quickest journey across to Tangier? And are flying dolphins operational in either or both ports?
Thanks in advance.
Has anyone ever heard of the tour operator Iberica? If so are they reputable? Any other recommendations for a tour of this area, (Including Ronda) around April 24 or 25th.?

Hi, does anyone have any info on jazz clubs, blues clubs, concerts etc for the area from Fuengirola to Malaga? The mayors and mayoresses seem intent on killing it off.
Where would you recommend to stay on Costa del Sol if I am not fond of night life, looking for white sandy beaches and try to avoid crowds?

I am going in Spain in September, my travel will start in Malaga and it will finish in Seville.
10 days 4 cities... Malga, Granda, Cordoba and Seville.
Anyone can give me any advice about the most beautiful places that I can see in each cities?
My husband and I want to celebrate our 25th anniversary with a few days in Andalucia next April/May. At the end of our tour we will meet up with family in Barcelona and tour there, Basque country, Madrid and Segovia. Our goals for Andalucia are to get a feel for the culture and beautiful sights in a relaxed, romantic way. We aren't big city or crowd people, and with seeing Madrid and Barcelona, would prefer to stay in smaller, quieter places in the rest of Spain. I originally thought we would do Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Ronda. But, I'm thinking that deleting Seville, as it is the largest of the four, will lead to a more relaxed trip. Alhambra is a must, despite the crowds. As is seeing Flamenco, but there are options for that outside of Seville. Is it crazy to think of not visiting Seville on our romantic trip?
Thank you for your insights!
My husband and I love the horse fairs such as chip ionic and jeez but are in search off other events depicting culture, food, music, etc. any ideas.
Dear fellow travelers,
we're flying to Malaga and also flying back from there. We have already rented a car for the entire trip. Could you please give me some tips on the itinerary, hidden jewels? What cannot be missed when there? I'm getting a bit overwhelmed, as there are too many beautiful things to visit. I was also thinking about stopping in Gibraltar...
Thanks in advance
Hello, We will be in Andalusia for two weeks in Dec / Jan. My wife insists that I include at least two days / one night for a stop anywhere on the coast.
Which one place would you stop for two days in winter between, say, Motril to the east and Cadiz to the west?
We are mainly interested in historical sites (cathedrals, churches, castles, palaces) and walkable ambience.
Thanks in advance!
Hey! I’m interested in Andalucía and I thinking about trip, maybe to Malaga. Can somebody give me some important details (for example: prices of flight, the cheapest hotels)? I will be grateful.

I want to know if Andalucia is a good place for vacations
When I was in Seville or Granada, I visited a former monastery where the former dining room where the monks ate silently was floor to ceiling with elaborate frescoes of the trials of the saints or inquisition depicting extreme deaths. It was apparently to remind the monks of the trials that others had suffered for the sake of Christianity. Can anyone tell me the name and exact location?
I am planning a trip to Andalucia flying to Malaga in August for 7 days. We would like to visit Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Cadiz and was wondering which is the best non-touristic, preferably picturesque, coastal town to stay in order to be able to travel with public transport to the formentioned cities?
Thank you in advance.
