Travel Buddy, Wanted: Route 66

Hey Guys

So the plan is to Travel Route 66, all the way from Chicago right up to Las Vegas. I’ve set aside 3 – 5 weeks to do this. I am planning on doing this road trip next summer (July time, 2014). If anyone was thinking about doing this, give me shout I would love to know your ideas.

I’m that person who is stuck in a 9-5 job, and just itching to get out of it and go traveling, I have received a lot of information about this trip, so if you fancy it, give me a message

thanks [VT member 93f85]

Why not try posting on www.travbuddy.com as well? Unlike VT, which is a site where most members share experiences, advice and information about their travels, travbuddy is specifically aimed at matching up people who wish to travel with others.

Good luck! :-)

You posted this to America Samoa instead of in the US. You will get more answers if you post this in the right area. :) There are several people who know about this route.

I did this trip about 20 years ago but was in a hurry and did not make it all the way to Chicago but am now retired and hope to do the whole thing within the not too distant future. My plan is to (most likely) take the Lincoln Hwy from NYC to SFO and then head south and follow 66 all the way back to Chicago followed by a few days visiting Michigan's LP.
Interesting that you have a 9-5 job and yet can arrange five consecutive weeks of vacation.

Want to get something which can make you remember the best time of your driving days? Well I know something. Get on the Route 66 and take home a sign to remind you those days. The days which were best in your life. One of the best sign is route 66 arizona. Click it and check out.
