Anyone currently in agadir that can tell me if it is sun bathing weather. I'm arriving 29th
I am currently in Essaouira, the Temperature is roughly 20c in the day and a chilly 6c at night.
The weather forecast is roughly the same for Agadir. It is warm enough to sunbath in a sheltered spot.
I'm not in Agadir (unfortunately) but languishing in the frozen wastelands of suburban Glasgow, planning my next trip to sunny Essaouira, but here is the good news.....
looks like sunbathing weather to me...
Benny, Check the weather for the 29th onwards, it gets cooler, We are heading for Sidi Ifni where it is a scorchio 24 degrees !!
Gosh, 24C in Sidi Ifni, that looks good, I was in Essaouira for six weeks during January 2001 and got a suntan, the sun is hot enough to burn skin and can be deceptive if there is a cooling onshore wind, so I still had to use sunblock. I'm all set for May this year, planning on spending a week in Essaouira before the town gets too cluttered by the annual Gnaoua music festival and all the hotel prices go up, it seems they have brought forward the dates this year, normally in June but this time 14-18th May, I only found about about this after booking my Easyjet flight ticket, slightly upsetting my travel plans.
Have you checked out Bar Hafra's smart new interior this year? (formerly Bar le Trou) they even throw a regular bucket of disinfectant into the primitive toilets, so the table adjacent to the toilet with which I recall you were unusually familiar is now no longer the preserve of the disenfranchised, or as they are better-known "les gens louches!"
Thank you for your help. Fingers crossed it gets above 20 :)
woohoo Sue back in Morocco! If I wasnt in beautiful NZ with temps here of ave 26 Id be jealous! (though only one more week til head for the freez :( )
but weve generally ended up in Agadir/Tagazhout Jan/Feb for sunshine by the beach to warm up a bit if been out in chilly antiAtlas or Atlas before flying back to chilly London.
