Hi am looking to go Agadir (Morocco) in April 2015, and would appreciate if someone can give me and insight on excursion/activities available and the PRICES and from whom.
There are many tour operators in Agadir, some have a space in hotels where they appear most days during the week. Check the lobby area for visiting times and trips offered. I can send you a full list of excursions, including Marrakech, although the prices are more than likely out of date but I do not think these would have changed too much.
Along the main roads of the tourist sector, Boulevard 20 Aout for example, you will find smaller independent operators with whom you can haggle to bring down the cost of a trip.
As always, a minimum of (usually) six people will be required to make an organised trip happen.
Hi, thank you, could you please send me a list of excursions and prices then please :D. My email is [email]
I can't help you with information about tour agencies, because I never use them, but if you want to explore the regions around Agadir you can do this yourself on public transport, either using the superior CTM network or the local bus companies for shorter distances. Go to the bus station in Agadir and find all the departures listed by competing companies, you will only pay the fixed price for a ticket, avoiding rip-off commission rates imposed by touts and "friendly helpful" tour companies of variable reputations.
From Agadir, a trip to Essouira is an ideal way to start explorations and find a more authentic Moroccan cultural experience than the European-style resort of Agadir. As an approximate guide to bus fares, it cost me 140 dirhams from Casablanca to Essaouira on CTM (about 250 miles and 6 hours) a local bus from Essaouira to Sidi Kaouki was only 6 dirhams for a distance of about 12 miles. The CTM website is.........
Finally, it's not a good idea to publish your private email address on this website, especially the Morocco forums. When I started writing here about my experiences travelling Morocco, my VT email box was inundated by all sorts of suspicious characters and "friend requests" from even more dodgy sources. These were all disreputable touts operating in the desert regions or chancers looking for a UK sponsor to obtain temporary visas to travel to the UK then disappear into the black economy.
I hope this points you in the right direction, you can find lots more Morocco information by clicking on my name or avatar which will lead you to my profile page, then scroll down to the foot of the page to find my various Moroccan destinations.
