Where is everyone traveling to this December?

I am thinking about going on a solo vacation in December and looking for some ideas... Does anyone have trips planned for this December? Where are you going?

Hello Aastha! My entire family and I will be traveling to Mexico Cityand Veracruz. I've been to Mexico City before but never been in Veracruz. According to the books and internet, It is a beautiful port and a city of melted-down cultures. I have done my research already and have listed the most famous places (and gems) to visit. I am very excited about it as we will have the opportunity to share, learn and enjoy the culture with a Mexican family.

My sister is heading to Dasht-e Kavir (a desert that is situated between the Iranian provinces of South KhorasanSemnan

, Tehran and Yazd ) for a 3-day trekking. Fall and winter are the best seasons to visit a desert.

To give you an idea about travelling, I suggest you visiting Iran because it is safe for a female traveler and there are lots of things to explore.

Cheers to all :)

Florida as usual. My folks are there, but we always stay in a hotel on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. The beach is beautiful and there are lots of good restaurants and some night life. Of course the weather is iffy. But when it's good all is well. You don't really need a car unless you want to venture to Miami or Palm Beach or any of the beach communities nearby.

Key West is also a great choice.
