What is your favorite spring break destination & why?

That is a very broad question because it depends what you like to do, how old your kids are, what your budget is, etc.  For skiing I like Vail, Telluride, CO or Northstar Ski Resort.  For sun I like Puerto Rico, San Diego or Amelia Island.  You could also go to cities or travel internationally. 

Fredericksburg (Texas) in Texas hill country.  Beautiful scenery, National Museum of the Pacific War museum, Wildflower farm, many bed and breakfasts, quaint shops and restaurant.  It's an old German town.  Don't miss the cemetery and old churches.

Mexico, the Gulf of Mexico, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, amazing beaches, a paradise like environment and really super friendly people.
