Visiting D.C. with my cousin and we'd like to eat our way through the trip :) What are the hottest restaurants or "must eats" in Washington D.C. right now?
Rose's Luxury and Little Serow are great places that do not take advanced reservations. You'll have to wait in line before they open to get a reservation for that night, but they are well worth the wait.
If you plan well in advance, you can try get in at one of the exclusive restaurants like Minibar By José Andrés or Komi. Not nearly as exclusive, but also requiring advanced reservations is the James Beard winning Indian food at Rasika.
Ramen shops seem to be the new thing in DC. Toki Underground is probably the most well known, but there are rumors of a Momofuku opening soon.
If you don't want to go through all the trouble of the places above, there are a bunch of good places with much easier reservations like: Kapnos, China Chilcano, &pizza...

Rose's Luxury is known equally for excellence in food and service. They don't take reservations (they don't need to), so go early and enjoy!
