Northern Vietnam in 6 days

Hi guys,

We are group of five adults going on a trip around mainland of Southeast Asia at the end of November. Intend to spend 6 days in Hanoi-Sapa-Halong-Ninh Binh. Is it a bit of a rush for us to visit the above places in 6 days? We don't want to spend much more time in te Northern Vietnam but also don't want to skip any of them, what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

For 6 days in Vietnam, you should cut at least 1 place above to make sure that you will have a good tour. For example, you can spend time for traveling HanoiSa Pa District-Halong Bay Vietnam only

For 6 days, you can not travel all destinations above, you should mist out at least 2 places. You can visit Hà Nội-Sa Pa District and Halong Bay Vietnam only

It's rather rushed to cover all these places in 6 days. If you still want to follow this itinerary, Hanoi(1 day: Hanoi Old Quarter, West Lake and One Pilar Pagoda) - Sa Pa District (2 days: Cat Cat Village, Cat Stone Church, Ham Rong Peak and Silver Waterfall) - Hạ Long (1 day: Tuần Châu and Bãi Cháy) and Ninh Binh (1 day: Tràng AnBải DinhTam Coc Ninh BinhBich Dong Pagoda

One day for strolling around Hanoi two day and one night for Sa Pa District, you can take a daily bus to go from Hanoi to Sapa; One day and one night for a Halong cruise, refer Halong-bay-tours to set a suitable cruise; a daily trip for Ninh BinhTràng An is a popular site worth to have a look. With that itinerary, you cannot see much in those places so I still highly recommend skipping Ninh Binh or Sapa in your itinerary.
