What do you think about Vietnamese culture, food and people?
I have been to Vietnam 17 times both for work and pleasure and I really enjoy being there.
I have found the vietnamese to be the most open people in Southeast Asia with less "facade" than most other people in the region.
And the food is exellent and very healthy.
Just once, and I loved it. I wrote a pretty honest blog post about it that captures my experience pretty well.
I'd go again in a second. Every 12 hours I was there, I liked it a bit better.
I knew Vietnamese food is light, subtle in flavour and astonishing in its variety. Though its cuisine is related to that of China, Vietnam has its own distinct culinary tradition, using herbs and seasoning rather than sauces, and favouring boiled.
