Stephanie from New York City asked

Where to catch the best views in Toronto?

I'll be in Toronto for work and I love some view spots. Where can I find the best views of the city in or around Toronto?

The views from the Toronto Islands are wonderful.   Its a great place to explore in the summer too with Center Island and Centreville Amusement Park, Ward's Island and their lovely cottages and the boardwalk overlooking the lake.   There is an AMAZING restaurant on the Boardwalk 1/2 between Center Island and Wards which is an ideal spot for lunch and a break.

This is another great spot to for a great view and with great food (although pricey!). But you can just have a drink and still enjoy the view: Hyatt Regency Toronto

Grab a drink from the hot, newly opened Panorama Lounge The One Eighty in the Manulife Centre. Glorious views of the skyline from the 51st floor. Swanky sunset dinner at Canoe Canoe on the 54th floor in the TD Centre, downtown in the Financial district. The roof-top terrace lounge at the Park Hyatt . Sip a cocktail and enjoy the views south across Queens Park, down University Ave and the sky line. Can't go wrong. Avoid the tourist-laden CN Tower. Enjoy the view!
