Toronto is a multicultural dining paradise. There's no reason to go to New York, if you get what I mean. A large ethnic Italian and Chinese population ensure the best is in and around Toronto. But just about every ethnic and national group can dine "native" here. For an example, I couldn't even guess how many fine sushi restaurants are in and around Toronto. My favourite is Story Sushi on Centre Street, Thornhill, a lovely suburb just north of Toronto and a few minutes west of the longest street in the world, Yonge Street. Deli? Centre Street Deli, near Story Sushi.
The suburb of Markham, north-east of Toronto, is now majority Chinese. Can you even imagine the dining there?
