Hello!
I'll be traveling to a few cities this year, to visit friends who recently moved to Gothenburg. I'll be bringing a suitcase of theirs with me, but have scheduled my flights with long layovers in a few cities. My intention was to explore Toronto, Brussels and Copenhagen during these long layovers.
My question is with this specific itinerary, will I be able to leave the suitcase at the airport or will I have to pick it up and carry it around until I check in for the next flight?
Sorry for the long question, but I'm trying to plan this as best I can. Thanks for the help anyone who can.

Hello Chris,
Storage facilities are available at the Travel Store located on the Departures Level of Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Luggage strapping is available in Terminal 1 on the Departures Level (near Aisles 15 and 3) and in Terminal 3 on the Departures level near the Samsonite store. For rates and hours of operation please contact the Travel Store: Terminal 1: (416) 776-1313, Terminal 3: (905) 612-6677. Hope this information helps you.
You will almost certainly have to pickup your bag from the carousel when you land at YYZ. However, there is nothing stopping you from immediately going to the airline counter and checking in the bag to the next leg of your journey.
Keep in mind that the longer your bag "hangs around" in the system, the more likely it is to get lost.
