Planning a trip to Thailand : recommendations for a great trip

We are planning a trip to Thailand and was wondering what to see and where to go?  Our original plan is to go to Bangkok and spend some time in Ko Phi Phi.  We have been hearing about visiting Siem Reap since it's close.  We would like a vacation with a mix of nature, relaxation, ancient history and some big city life mixed in. We have 14 days to invest in this experience

Ross recommendation is reasonable and fit the 14 days trip.

Another plan, you can divide to 3 destinations: Bangkok (3 nights) - Phi Phi Islands (3 nights)- Bangkok (1 nights)- Siem Reap (3 - 4 nights) - Bangkok and day trips to nearby provinces such as Kanchanaburi or Ayutthaya (3-4 nights).

Try low cost airlines such as Air Asia, Nok Air to Krabifor taking ferry to Phi Phi and to Siem Reap. Cheap and time savin

14 days is going to be hard trying to do all of that, with air travel you really only have 12 days of actual travel. And Koh Phi Phi is almost as touristy as Phuket Have you thought of traveling east from Bangkok? If you hit some of those islands like Ko Chang or Ko Kutyou will be a lot closer the Cambodian boarder. Then maybe a night bus to the Siem Reap area? Let me know if this helps, I can also help with different itinerarys!

For 14 days , you can visit Patong Beach and Phuket. You can make trekking, bamboo rafting , diving at PP Island, elephant riding to Khao Lak.

And then you should visit to Pattaya and do some  tour , like rafting and so on..

And take train to Chiang Mai and enjoy nature.

I hope my answer is helpful to you.
