Hello,

There are many, many beaches in Thailand to choose from, and it is hard to say what the best beach is for you specifically.

If you wanted to minimize overland travel with your young child, you may want to choose a beach that is easily accessible to an airport. Some options could be PhuketKrabi, or Koh Samui.

Phuket probably has the most infrastructure for tourists if you are looking for comfort.

My personal favorite is Railay Beach, which is near Krabi. It has beautiful limestone karsts, monkeys, and white soft sand. It is probably a little more rustic than Koh Samui or Phuket, and it can seem a bit small, but it's a great place to get "away from it all." There aren't quite as many party backpackers there either. You can also take ferries from here to Koh Phi Phi and Phuket, as well as other small islands for day or overnight trips, it just depends on how much you want to travel with the little one and how much variety you would like.

Happy Travels!
