What to do in Tempe with my husband and no kids!

The Halloween celebration on Mill Avenue is legendary! The streets will be jammed with people in costume - some completely ordinary, but others straight out of a movie set.

If you like high-end craft beer, World of Beer is my favorite place on Mill to get a good one. There's a little Mediterranean place whose name I can't remember if you need a decent but casual lunch. And then there's Umami - definitely the best ramen shop around. 

Otherwise, just walk and people watch. You'll love it.

The next morning, I'd recommend a trip to HAZELROCK Coffee + Sweets or Infusion Coffee and Tea. Or heck, try them both while you're here. Both are exceptionally good at cold-brewed coffees. I think Hazelrock is better on cappucinos and cortados, though, and also on food (their salmon sandwich is out of control).
