HaPizza (הפיצה) on Bograshov street
Fresh ingredients, thin crust, and MUCH better than Tony Vespa which is terrible compared to real pizza the rest of the world enjoys outside of Israel.
Really the problem with pizza in Israel is that most places use a mix of synthetic cheese along with real cheese.
Two great places that offer 100 percent real cheese pizza are:
Phillipe pizza on 20 Carlebach
And HaBarbanel - הברבנאל pizza and bar on Abarbarnel 26 (near Florentine).
Traditional (Neapolitan?) thin crust at Campanello, an Italian restaurant that serves pizza on Ben Yehuda 230
Less sauce and more gourmet style (lots of vegetable toppings) at HaPizza (הפיצה) on Bograshov 51
I like Phillipe. It's called a french Pizza, but it's very Italian. Thin and crispy. http://www.philippe.rest-e.co.il/
Without a doubt, the best pizza in Tel Aviv is Tony vespa.
Not the cheapest, but it is definitely worth it.. There are a couple of locations in the city, 140 Rothschild Boulevard, 267 Dizingoff Street and 118 Allenby Street.
Enjoy(:
