Taipei night markets?

the night markets open every night from 6pm to midnight.

I have almost been to all the major night markets in taipei and would like to recommend Ning Xia Night Market

Shida Night Market is probably my favorite. It's near the Universities and mostly locals. Shilin Night Market is the largest but it is a tourist trap now. Way too crowded, mostly tourists from mainland China and they do NOT que up. 

In Taipei there's so many night markets you can visit.I recommend some list below

Tong Hua Night Market: MRT: Xinyi Anhe station 9mins walk, Open: 18:00~02:00

Raohe St. Night Market: MRT: Houshanpi station 15mins walk, Open: 18:00~02:00

Shida Night Market: MRT: Taipower Building station 8mins walk, Open:18:00 ~ 01:00

Liaoning St. Night Market: MRT: Nanjing E. rd station 6mins walk, Open:18:00 ~ 01:00

Ning Xia Night MarketMRT: Zongshan station 9mins walk, Open:18:00 ~ 01:00

Jingmei Night Market: MRT: Jingmei station 5mins walk, Open:18:00 ~ 01:00

Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market: MRT: Longshan Temple station 5mins walk, Open: 18:00~02:00

Each night market has it's characteristic and you can find some surprises on them.

Raohe St. Night Market is definitely my favourite in terms of authenticity.  Shilin Night Market is probably the largest but after the refurbishment it has become a massive tourist trap (you now have street stalls selling everything under the sun (all of mediocre quality) - as opposed to the traditional night market stalls each specialising in one item only).

I have been to mostly all the night market in Taipei. I feel like Raohe Street Night Market is my favorite.

they all open every night except Chinese new year. some stand might close in heave rain
