Will be renting a car in Zurich, driving through Bern and ultimately ending up in Geneva (possibility of going over to Lyon, France, too). Any good fondue places anywhere along the way? :)
My favorite fondue restaurant in Zurich is called Fribourger Fonduestübli, located at Rotwandstrasse 38, but it is closed during the summer months of June, July and August. If you're driving from Bern to Geneva, you might want to consider stopping off in Gruyeres villages, home of Gruyere cheese. You can have lunch at a fantastic little fondue restaurant called Restaurant le Chalet de Gruyères before visiting the village castle, Château Saint-Germain 1663 Gruyères. While you're there, be sure to visit Maison Cailler for a tour of the Cailler chocolate factory and a free tasting of all the chocolate you can eat. It's just up the road from Gruyeres. Have fun!

Definitely try the fondue at Bains des Pâquis along the lake. A nice casual vibe with indoor heated tents during the winter and outside by the lake during the summers. and the fondue is quite good.
