What should I see/do/go in Sweden?

I will be traveling for 3 months in Scandanavia and looking for things to do and see in Sweden.

I agree with Emma, Stockholm and Gothenburg have it all! Design, nice buildings, museums, good restaurants, parks etc.

I love the Haga district in Gothenburg for cafés and funky shops. Try to visit some of the islands in the archipelago outside of Gothenburg. You can take a ferry from Saltholmen   

Vargö is a nature reserve with lots of great walks and only about 30 minutes from Saltholmen. Other islands worth a look are Styrsö and Donsö You can rent bikes on some of the islands. Take a picnic and your swimsuit!

Stockholm would be a great town since you're looking for design. I loved Gothenburg because I felt like I got to really experience local culture. They have a lot of great restaurants and cafes there as well!
