Great soups and sandwiches Companion-Ladue or Companion

They are freshly made in the cafe every day

For quick fast food style lunches Saint Louis BREAD Co.Saint Louis Bread Co.Saint Louis Bread Co. (There are so many of them...I can't begin to list them all)

Go to downtown Clayton and you will find many great places to eat at such as 5 Star Burgers for delicious burgers

Saint Louis is known for Fitz's (rootbeer) its a cool experience

If you are into sports St. Louis Ballpark Villageis a great option because its right across from Busch Stadium and has tons of TVs for watching sports

For sure check out Iron Barley Eating Establishment and/or Evangeline's Bistro and Music House.  Those are two local favorites.  Also, Crown Candy Kitchen is famous for their milk shakes and BLT.

Great suggestions, Jorie! By the way, I'm a community manager here and I've helped you highlight the places in your answer on a map! In the future, you can do this yourself as you answer a question by simply typing the @-symbol followed by the name of the place. Take a look at your map next to your answer :)

You have to go to Legrand's Catering for sandwiches. 4414 Donovan Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109  They are a small market/butcher with a deli in the back that serves amazing sandwiches with Boar's Head's meats. Get the Curious Scooter!

Ohhh....also anywhere on the Hill for Italian. Best ever!
