Heading to Split next week for a sailing trip, but I have a few extra days after and would love a few places I can try some authentic food.
Send over any recommendations! Ideally low-budget but a good experience!
Local foods and drinks to try: orahovica (walnut brandy), fish 'brudet', paski sir (Pag cheese), dried figs, 'pasticada', rafioli and krostule pastries, and a local mountain speciality 'soparnik': stone oven-baked spinach and garlic pie.
Buffet Fife is good but it's really basic, it's originally a place where fishermen went for a lunch break.
