Can anyone recommend a good seafood restaurant in Split?
I really like Nostromo, right next to the daily seafood market in Split, and next to Diocletian's Palace with Chef Zlatko Marinovic. With the kitchen just steps from the seafood market, along with a long running strong relationship with the local fishermen, the freshest of the day usually ends up in the kitchen of Nostromo and on the menu. When I ate there we asked for whatever Chef Zlatko thought was the best of the daily fresh seafood catch, prepared the way that Chef Zlatko thought best, and paired with the best Croatian, Slovenian or Montenegrin wine for each particular dish. This was not inexpensive, but was a terrific treat.
