Please suggest some great water sports in Split!

I'm tagging along with my mate to visit her family in Split this summer! I'm a water sport fanatic and figured that must be a great place for that so can you suggest some ways I can hit the waves? Surfing, paddling, I'm really up for anything! :)

Split is amazing and has some great swimming but it's pretty glassy-- waves are scarce. Marjan Park has fabulous swimming (I'd recommend water shoes-- sand beaches are rare in a lot of Croatia).

Hi Katrina,

Split is a fun place with a lot to do! One water activity in Split I highly recommend is sea kayaking.

Also try to make your way to Hvar and Brac islands if you can.
