Hi Haina,

That's a tough question! There are so many places to visit in South East Asia. Can you clarify what you mean by weekend trip? Do you have a regular 2 day weekend in mind or can you take 1 or 2 days off?

To be honest, on a pure 2 day weekend, I believe you would know all places as they are usually quite well known. I find 20 places for a 2 day weekend on www.tripinasia.com Anything from beach Pulau Rawa to volcanoes Kawah Ijen or temples Yogyakarta

If you have a bit more time, then you can start exploring a bit further. Ko Yao Noi or Ko Yao Yai far from the crowds of Phuket. You can also visit Lake Toba

And if you have 4 days or more then the range of possibilities opens further up.

In total, there are about 50 destinations on www.tripinasia.com and all the details regarding the weather and travel time to reach them.

Happy travels!
