Thomas from Oslo asked

What should I really visit or do in Seoul?

Next week, I will spent a week in Seoul for work where I will attend a symposium.

I do have some time off, so I would like to know what I really should not miss when I am visiting Seoul. Where should I go? I like a lot of things, and I do not mind to walk/hike a bit. Oh yes, I heard food is really good in Seoul, so where should I go and get me some?

Insadong will be good for food and street culture. I had a fried bring me to a tea master there to have a real tea experience.

Dongdaemun Market is also a good stop.

There are palaces you can check out, but choosing one would be a good experience. Try Gyeongbokgung.

visiting a hanok village. Try Bukchon Hanok Village.
