South East Asia

Anyone knows a good airline to travel within South East Asian countries? Like Ryanair in Europe. Recommendations?

I love Air Asia!  It's nicer than Ryanair and I would actually compare it more to Virgin America if you've ever been.  If you go to their official website and go to the section where you would book a flight, click on "Origin" and a whole list of destinations will pop up.  I had great experiences flying with them between different cities in Thailand :)

Cebu Pacific, Air Asia, and Tiger Air. It really depends on where you're going.

The Cebu Pacific hub is in the Philippines so most flights go in and out in Manila or Cebu.

Air Asia's center is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, so most flights go in and out there.

Tiger Air is based in Singapore.

Malindo or Firefly, but it depends on where you're going and where you're flying from... if nothing else, the ticket price includes a 15kg check in allowance.

Try AirAsia or Philippine Airlines.

Hello from Singapore!

If you're heading out from here, the low-cost carriers would be Scoot, Airasia and Tigerair. You HAVE to check-out their websites and monitor the fares! Scoot is under Singapore airlines and had the craziest sale recenty of free air-tickets and 50% off! It's pretty exciting. Else just book from skyscanner.com which is free of charge and helps you compare the prices. (Download the app it helps you better with the monthly view thing)
