Night Safari , walk the trails first (opens at 7pm/7.30pm) queues are miles long for trolleys, do the four trails, then get the trolleys about 9pm and they are almost empty with no queues.

Haw par villas if you love Asian folklore, also known as Tiger Balm Gardens, easy to get to buses right to the gates

    To do:

Gardens by the Bay - for extraordinary nature and architecture
HortPark Henderson Waves - cool architecture and nice for relaxation
Night Safari - get up close to some amazing animals by night, fantastic atmosphere. Both guided tour and free walking. Show up early in the evening to avoid long queues

Sentosa Island - when you want to get away from the busy city and relax at the beach

Marina Bay Sands - Singapore's biggest highlight. If you can manage (rent a room or know a guest) to get up to the boatshaped pool by the roof, you'll have the best view of the city. 1 Altitude offers a breath-taking view too and might be a more realistic alternative, of the two

Walk along the riverbank from Raffles Place to Clarke Quay - meet other international travellers at the main-bridge and enjoy the best area for nightlife

A wide variety of cultures meeting in one country:

Arab St - plenty of neat, alternative and colorful restaurants to grab a bite. Excellent area for shisha

Little India - cheap shopping for souvenirs, temples, great flavours and culinary experiences

Chinatown - just walk around an be amazed by the surroundings, get lost in the beauty of dragons and temples, eat at Smith St

Kampong Glam - the Malay area of Singapore, full of history, colors and amazing food

    Food and drinks:

A must is to experience the local's 24/7 food-hangouts; the hawker centers. No need to worry about the costs, there's dishes in all price ranges. Do check out Maxwell Road Hawker Centre

    Other stuffs to try out;

-Coffee served in a plastic to-go bag with a straw (kopi-C kosong if you want to avoid sweetened milk and sugar)

-Looking for low-budget food? Go for chicken rice, they have it everywhere

-Chili-crab, one of Singapore's most famous dishes

-Kaya toast (coconut jam), typically served as breakfast

-Durian, the king of fruits. You can't leave Singapore without having eaten (and smelled) this

Get around Singapore by the MRT, it's economically and connects the whole country. If you're going back home late by night, cabs are cheap compared to the prices in Europe. The city really comes alive at night and it is at it's most beatuiful in the dark.

Visit heritage Colonial building neighborhoods such as Chinatown, Bugis, Little Indiaand Joo Chiat Rd.

Check out food courts for local food hunting such as Maxwell Food Centre for famous chicken rice, Lau Pa Satfor satay.

For me, Indian food and Muslim food are awesome too. Try Singapore Zam Zam, Bugis.

Modern landmarks such as Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands.

Universal Studios Singapore and S.E.A Aquarium.

For nature and gardens, Singapore Botanic Gardens is recommended.

Shopping malls hub is along Orchardroad.

Activities I like are taking Duck & Hippo River Cruiseand strolling through Tiong Bahru Rd, hipster area. Don't miss French bakery at Tiong Bahru Bakery... yummy.

For good price attraction tickets such as Gardens by the Bay, SG Flyer pls go to Sea Wheel Travel Pte Ltd , 3rd floor at People's Park Centre.
